Taoist Lovemaking
For over 4,000 years Taoists have taught lovemaking alongside exercise and meditation as a natural path to happier relationships, better health, and spiritual enlightenment.

Sex is a natural part of life, as natural as breathing, eating, or sleeping. It is the reason why we are all here. And yet, of all the creatures on this planet, it is only humans who, for some reason, consider it to be something dirty or shameful, and not to be spoken of publicly. And while all animals have sex to procreate, it is only humans who are also capable of love. It is ironic, then, that only we are gifted with the ability to feel love, and we are also the only ones ashamed of its physical expression.
Today, our society is opening up, and sex is discussed more openly. Yet the sad truth remains that many women are still unsatisfied. Why is this? There isn't always one answer, but in many cases it is because the man is either selfish or doesn't know how to feel. Often both. If you were to ask the men, of course they are all superstars. But if you ask their women, if they are honest, you will hear a much different story. There is no reason for things to continue this way.
The Taoist art of lovemaking, and all Taoist systems in their own ways, first and foremost teach the practitioner how to feel. This sounds simple, but it is truly not easy, as the men who have learned this system will attest. The hard part is not necessarily physical. It is the man taking his mind out of his penis and putting it back in his head, so that he can control his ejaculation and have patience enough to feel what the woman wants and do what it takes to bring her to orgasm. This is much easier said than done, and every woman is different and has her nuances.
The Chinese word kung fu means skill that comes from hard work and time, and it does not apply only to fighting, as it is often understood.
Taoist lovemaking is the highest level of kung fu there is. There is no woman in the world who cannot be satisfied in time.
Where does Taoist lovemaking come from?
The Taoists did not treat sex as something taboo but rather as something natural and beautiful to be appreciated and perfected for the benefit and enjoyment of both oneself and one's partner.
One of the earliest known records of human sexual practices and techniques were passed down to us by the Yellow Emperor or Huang Ti (2,698 BC), the father of Chinese civilization. He is credited with discovering the secret of immortality, or deathless awareness, through the blending of male and female energy during sexual intercourse to produce pure energy and spirit ("shen"). The Taoists did not view men and women as adversaries but as natural partners. Huang Ti was said to have three female advisors – the Plain Girl, the Mysterious Girl, and the Rainbow Girl. Many classical Chinese texts detail the teachings imparted by them to Huang Ti regarding health, longevity, sexuality, military strategy, governance, as well as spirituality and internal alchemy. One such text is the Su Nü Jing and goes into detail about Taoist sexual practices in the form of a dialogue between Huang Ti and his three female advisors. They teach him the importance of female satisfaction and controlling male ejaculation for prolonging intercourse and conservation of energy and improved health.
I have been learning the art of Taoist lovemaking for over 10 years, and the impact it has had on my life has been more profound than I could ever have imagined.
